My dog is 11 And he kept me up at night when we have storms. Finally tried The thunder shirt and it worked beautifully first night. Storms have been going on for hours and he’s laying there like it Isn’t happening picture was taken while storm is going on fantastic product

I was very surprised to see my pup resting like this during a storm and so thankful for her to be relaxed during a storm instead of shaking and scared .

we have been using it for over a year now, here are my thoughts.
1. it looks adorable. - i can’t stop gushing over how handsome it makes our boy look haha. i know it’s silly but we think he looks all buff and handsome with it.
2. it mostly works. - is it the ultimate one all be all solution for a dogs anxiety issues. not necessarily. it has certainly helped out extremely anxious lab. in particular, we have noticed his body language has become a little more relaxed during rainy days ans storms. we’ve also tried it on for fireworks and seems to help him feel a little more secure. HOWEVER, keep in mind this is a tool, not a solution. while yes, if introduced properly, gradually, with positive reinforcement and positive associations it can help ease your dogs symptoms. BUT you will still need to keep working on desensitizing your dog to storms and fireworks. (if you don’t know what that means, look it up in yt, there are great training videos there)
so please, know this is just one more tool in your tool box, and you will need to use it adequately to see results.
honestly, at this point my boy loves it, he enjoys wearing it around and will fall asleep as soon as i put it on. so even if it didn’t work perfectly for storm anxiety it has helped him get better quality and longer sleep bc of how comfortable and calm he feels, so it’s a win either way.

3. it is made of great durable fabric. - the material feels sturdy and durable. we wash it about once a month during winter to make sure it’s clean and it has held up just fine. i like how easy to put on and adjustable it is. it does not get stuck or snag on the dogs fur (at least not for short haired shedding breeds like labradors).

It’s absolutely amazing that this has helped my chihuahua! He has bad anxiety in weather storms and fireworks. So grateful this has him so much calmer during these storms. It’s worth every penny!! Great product!!

It's storming right now and this Thundershirt arrived late yesterday, so I put it on our little Piper right away. She's an extremely anxious but wonderfully affectionate young dog. The thunder and lightning are constant right now while I'm taking her pictures. Instead of hiding under the bed, she actually went outside to do a quick potty and now she's following us around. 🙂😍🩷 So glad we tried this product. I wish we had gotten one for our old Lucy, a similarly anxious little terrier who died last year.

Our 2 year old Jack Russell would go crazy, barking and running all over when it thundered. This thundershirt is a live saver. I combine it with doggie noise canceling ear protection, I cuddle him a bit and speak to him and he calms down!

My pup, a Chi-Pom mix, was the cutest, quiet guy at 1yr when he came to live with me. After three moves in a year, he was pretty stressed. The first move, just six months after I got him, he seemed okay. The second, a month later, there were workers constantly banging in the house and nearly died from sudden gastric distress. Our dog Walle has issues with loud noise. He has gotten so stressed out that even a kid walking down the sidewalk bouncing a ball makes him dive underneath our bed. We got this jacket and 1st day we didn't see a difference but honestly I think he was just not use to wearing a jacket. After a few day's of wearing it you can see the difference in him. He is so calm compared to before. It's worth every penny. And an extra plus a more heathy and natural way to calm him down and make him feel safe again.
